'Northern Quarter'

'Home Is Where The Art Is'.

I recently went to Manchester's Northern Quarter to take photographs of the different kinds of Urban graffiti.

I am excited by the different textures and colours there are around the back streets of the Northern Quarter, as I was walking down a backstreet, I found a piece of paper saying 'Home Is Where The Art Is' and next to this was a piece of floral wallpaper and on the left side was a small picture frame of a home on the other side. I thought this was interesting since it was in a backstreet. I really like this quirky idea of mixing Urban surroundings with patterns. I didn't think I would see anything like this, I thought that it was unusual to see, I have tried to find out out who created this but haven't had any success but seeing this made me think about different ways that i could mix florals and how the theme of Fauna & Flora could go anywhere within this project. I am really pleased with my findings.
